Carrie Lavargna, Attorney
Carrie is one of only ten Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in real estate law in Stuart, Florida. She has practiced law for over 35 years and opened her law office in Stuart 20 years ago.
As a native Floridian, Carrie is a proud Seminole, Gator and Hurricane! She received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and her law degree from the University of Florida, where she was a member of the Florida Law Review. Carrie earned her Ibis status as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami Law School where she taught courses on banking, legal writing and real estate law.
Starting her practice in law in the city of Philadelphia for large national firm, she later moved back home to Florida where she worked in the real estate department for White & Case. She later continued her real estate work as counsel for a regional land developer and environmental consulting firm.
Carrie is a member of The Florida Bar and the Martin County Bar Association. She serves on the Executive Board for the Justice Major B. Harding American Inns of Court and is the past president of the Martin County Estate Planning Council and of the Preferred Professionals of Martin County.
Tony Lavargna, Attorney
Tony is a member of the Elder Law Section and Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. He is a proud Martin County Tiger, University of Central Florida Knight, and Florida State University College of Law Seminole.
Tony focuses his practice in real estate transactions, elder law concerns, and probate matters. He often writes legal articles for the local newspapers which focus on changes in the law and bringing simplicity to legal concepts. Tony Lavargna joined his mothers practice in 2016 to create the Lavargna Law firm.
He is an active member of the Martin County Estate Planning Council which meets monthly to discuss important changes in the law and techniques for collaborative professional growth. Tony enjoys spending his free time traveling to various Florida springs, boating around the Treasure Coast, or playing golf and tennis on the weekends.
Gina Mantz, ACP FRP FCP
Gina is an accomplished paralegal for 20 years, having received her A.S. Degree in paralegal studies from Florida’s Indian River State College. She is an Advanced Certified Paralegal with the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), a Florida Registered Paralegal through the Florida Bar and Florida Certified Paralegal. She joined Lavargna Law in April of 2013.
Before working with Carrie and Tony, Gina developed a wide range of legal experience and expertise in assisting with sophisticated estate planning and real estate matters. She lives in Hobe Sound and is married with three grown children.
Alysha Prasad, Legal Assistant
Alysha is a recent graduate from the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of FAU with a Bachelor of Arts degree concentrating in Law and Society with a minor in History. She has been working at Lavargna Law, PLLC for two years. She focuses her time on the overlap between law and finance and is actively working towards both legal and financial licensing.
